Members can request sacraments and certificates online from their member portal. Our office will contact you to prepare together.
Baptism & Chrismation
In the Ge'ez rite, Baptism, Chrismation (Meron) and First Holy Communion are given together. Parents and godparents attend one preparation class.
- Request at least 6 weeks ahead
- At least one godparent must be a confirmed Catholic
Holy Matrimony
The Crowning (Teklil) is one of the most beautiful celebrations of our tradition. Couples complete a six-session preparation course with Abba Ghebremedhin.
- Contact us at least 6 months before the wedding
- Recent baptismal certificates are required
Reconciliation
Confessions are heard every Sunday from 8:45 AM, and by appointment in Tigrigna, English or Amharic.

Anointing of the Sick
Our priests visit the sick at home, in hospital and in care homes across Calgary. Call the parish phone at any time in an emergency.
